This release will use a newer version of .Net Core and introduces a customizable retention period for shared files.

Updated with .Net Core 3.1 

Previous versions of Connectid Mail used .Net Core version 2.1. Since .Net Core v.2.1 will soon be obsolete, Connectid Mail will now use .Net Core version 3.1 which is more stable.

Customizable retention period for shared files

Files shared with Connectid Mail were previously available to view or download for just 7 days. After that time they were auto-deleted. Some companies found the retention period too short (to allow for holidays/vacations, for example). Based on that customer feedback, this version will make file retention customizable. Now, admins can use file storage settings to customize the data retention period to allow recipients more time to view or download data shared. It can be set to retain data up to 32 days, with a default of 7 days.

It's easy to customize the file storage period:

1. Open the ConnectidMail window in a new Outlook message and click Admin 
2. Choose Settings
3. Choose File storage settings and set the number of days you want files to be available
