How to find your IMAP host name

To connect your account with DataMapper, you will need to authenticate with your email address, password, and host name. You can find your IMAP host name on your email service provider’s webpage.  

Outlook

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Select File on the left side of the top ribbon
  3. Select Account Settings and then Account Settings again in the sub-menu
  4. Double click the email address you want to connect to DataMapper
  5. In the Change Account window, copy the details of the Incoming Server field
  6. Paste it in DataMapper in the host name field to connect the account to DataMapper

Apple Mail

  1. Open Apple Mail
  2. Go to Mail > Preferences at the top of your screen
  3. Click Accounts in the pop-up and select the email address you want to connect
  4. The Server Settings tab shows your Incoming and Outgoing Mail Server
  5. Copy the Incoming Server field
  6. Paste it in DataMapper in the host name field
