(EN) DataMapper: Onboarding step-by-step plan
Once you have entered into an agreement with us at Safe Online regarding our product, DataMapper, the next steps for you to get started will be introduced in a 6-steps plan for you to be proper trained in using the platform moving forward.
We guide you through 6 steps, which can be adjusted to fit your needs and your timeline. The plan can be downloaded at the bottom of the page if you need to revisit it or share with others.
Step 1: Start Scan
Together, we initiate the scan during the first meeting with you after our sales rep are finished with their settings, and this meeting is typically called "onboarding," in which this plan is evolved around.
During the first step we will cover:
- Setting up your account
- Adding administrators
- Overview of DataMapper
- Adding data sources
- Adding relationships
- Overview of Power BI
- Schedule the meeting to move forward with step 2
Step 2: Onboarding
After the scan has started in the previous step, we will proceed to continue onboarding you and your company, where we familiarize you with DataMapper and guide you on how to work with your scanned data.
During this step we will cover:
- Overview of the dashboard
- Adjusting relationships
- Overview of the risk page
- Adjusting Power BI
- Inviting super users
- Schedule the meeting to move forward with step 3
Step 3: Super User Training
At this stage, we will help train selected 'super users' to get started with their scanned data and be the ones who will help others get started after.
During this third step we will cover:
- Overview of DataMapper
- Introduction to risk emails
- Aligning responsibility assignments
- Assigning tasks to identify risk words that the admin will adjust in settings
- Schedule the meeting to move forward with step 4
Step 4: Adjustments
Based on the previous step and meetings, during this step we will help you make the adjustments needed in terms of risk keywords to optimize the experience for you as admin and the rest of the users when they get onboarded.
During this step we will cover:
- Adjusting risks based on feedback from super users
- Adjusting high-risk items based on feedback from super users
- Adjusting relationships based on feedback from super users
- Schedule the meeting to move forward with step 5
Step 5: Training Remaining Users
Following the previous two steps of training of super users and doing proper adjustments, it's time to start training the remaining users in a short meeting.
During this step we will cover:
- Overview of DataMapper (repeat of previous step)
- Introduction to risk emails (a helpful reminder to keep track of your cleaning up proces)
- Schedule the (last) follow up meeting
Step 6: Process Follow-Up
In the final step, we follow up on the previous meetings, review the process, and discuss the next steps tailored to your needs in collab with us to ensure you get the best possible outcome of using DataMapper. I
*If you’ve conducted an analysis scan with DataMapper, we review a risk report based on your data and guide you through this during the last meeting.
Finally, we schedule any further meetings as needed.
